Having a look at the manual, I assume that X36-2CP (1.6MP) may be used with SDK versions 3.1.480 and later, but until SDK veriosn 3.4.743 the correct firmware is not delivered with the SDK, so the “wrong firmware” warning will be displayed, until the guf-file is copied into the firmware-folder. Correct?
I’m not sure whether I got the phrase “revision x.2” correctly. At IDS we use the term “rev.2” together with the CP housing. (CP Rev.2 housing looks like a cube, the CP housing looks like a cuboid e.g.1.3 MP version uEye cameras)
What hardware revisions are you referring to in [3] - Is there a PCN? (I have PCN 200903 - X3x Rev.2)
I’m confused about the “They require a new firmware version”, because 5MP X-series (5CP) has used GigE Vision firmware from the very first beginning.
