I have two B-series in use. One of them runs as expected, the other one is not recognized in NxView and only shows red LED blink codes. Even a ping doesn’t work.
The NxLib version is 4.0.1502.
I have already looked at the network controller (Jumbo Frames, etc) and tested the Network Wizard / IP Config. The one camera that was displayed had the correct firmware (1.3.32).
Do you have any idea what could be the problem with the camera or what else can be tested?
have you tried both with the same power supply and network cable?
A blinking red status LED indicates that the device might not receive enough power, which usually happen when the camera is powered using a PoE supply that does not fulfill the requirements listed in the manual. In that case it is expected that the camera cannot be pinged or detected because it does not even boot.
Please try swapping the cameras and see if the same one still does not work.
